World Cup – The World’s premier football tournament, in a box!

This card game, developed by Mark Bates, allows players to simulate the excitement of a complete World Cup tournament. Players create their own football associations by selecting up to six countries then compete to win the coveted prize.

The base game includes 100 Game Event cards and Team Cards for both the 2018 Men’s tournament in Russia and the 2019 Women’s competition in France.

Gameplay involves various strategic elements, including:

• Game Events: Players can play a Goal card to score or use an Offside card to nullify an opponent’s goal.
• Attack and Defense: Utilize Attack cards to pressure other teams and Defense cards to counteract attacks.
• Penalties: Play a Penalty card and attempt to outwit opponents to score.
